Felipe VI 2014-2024. A Decade in the History of the Crown of Spain

19 June 2024 marks the tenth anniversary of the Proclamation of His Majesty King Felipe VI. Patrimonio Nacional is joining in the commemoration of this anniversary by staging a temporary exhibition at the The Royal Palace of La Almudaina that presents and celebrates Their Majesties the King and Queen and their institutional work throughout the first decade of their reign.

The exhibition has been organised in conjunction with the Diputación de la Grandeza de España, the Fundación de la Nobleza and Grupo Barceló and is a highly visual cross-cutting and thematic survey of the significance and profile of Their Majesties and of the role assigned to them by the Spanish Constitution as the highest representatives of the State. This show helps visitors reflect on how the Crown is indissolubly linked to our democracy and deeply committed to society at home and abroad, and has a sound future outlook.

To mark the exhibition, a publication has been brought out in Spanish, Catalan and English in the form of a gazette reflecting the main features of the commemoration. It will be distributed free of charge to visitors to the show.
